I’m pretty sure this video had ended up very different, if I hadn’t discovered the song around 2x17 and I felt like it touched so many things that must have been going through Dean’s head around that time. Once the season finale was aired it became a strong build up and using some scenes from season three really brought some points home. Actually I feel like the show pushes in the song direction like you said for season 3. With the earlier finding the video in itself has a broader foundation in all seasons, because I think I would have neglected the first season completely, if the idea had hit me later.

But I’m absolutely thrilled that you thought I did the song justice, I know how it feels to see a song vidded that inspires you and the scene choices don’t match up with the ones you have in your head or it has a different focus. It can be surprisingly awesome or in the worst scenario leave a bad taste. So thank you for your wonderful comment, it means a lot.
