How I feel about this character: Cordelia was flawless in my eyes for most of her run on BtVS and AtS. I loved her barb-wired tongue and witty one liners. She hooked me instantly on AtS and I loved her transformation from cold and cutting cheerleader on Buffy to mature demon hunter/vision girl/ de facto head bitch in charge of Angel Investigations. She had layers and I loved that she possessed so many unique traits in a female lead ten years ago. She wasn't a bleeding heart and yet capable of true compassion. All the people I ship romantically with this character: Angel, Spike, Wesley, Faith, Lilah, Gunn, Doyle, Xander - I can write her with pretty much anyone. My non-romantic OTP for this character: I loved her friendship with Wesley, but I can push them to sexual in no time. So I go with Lorne. My unpopular opinion about this character: Her decline started in S3. Cordelia didn't need to be soften up - I would have liked it, if they made her more complex and darker over time. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Her Season4-storyline was a bloody mess. I think it hurt me more, because the writers didn't dealt with the fallout and redemption. If she would have been there in Season 5 to ask why nobody noticed that something had taken over her body and brought on the apocalypse and still had to deal with the guilt about Connor and bonded with Wesley over destroying Connors innocence and well. I would be able to see Season 4 as stepping stone, instead of ledge for her character. my het ship: Cordelia/Angel and I have so much love for Cordelia/Spike my fem/slash ship: Cordelia/Faith or Cordelia/Lilah, both are delicious, so is Cordelia/Darla my OTP: Cordelia/Angel my OT3: Cordelia/Angel/Spike, Cordelia/Wesley/Faith, Cordelia/Wesley/Lilah, Cordelia/Angel/Wesley my crossover ship: Cordelia/Sam Winchester, Cordelia/Dean Winchester my kink: Bloodplay, bondage, angry sex, Aliens made them do it and mind melt a head canon fact: She is an almost as good researcher as Wesley, when she puts her mind to it, even when she is usually bored to death by it. Giles showed her a few tricks and short cuts. my gender bend: I don't think I need to gender bend Cordelia, the male stereotype of her character is a standard trope. I mean Spike or Damon Salvatore are pretty much her personality on testosterone with fangs.
