003 | Dean Winchester

How I feel about this character: Strongly. Heh. I enjoy Dean immensely most of the time, even when I get kinda annoyed about his self-righteousness in later seasons. The drama queen aspect of his personality is hilarious for me and I love him in overprotective big brother mode.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Romantically is a bit too rosy-tinted, but I can see the appeal of Dean/Sam, Ruby/Dean, Alstair/Dean, Jo/Dean, Jess/Dean, Ellen/Dean and Dean/Castiel in small doses.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Dean/Impala
My unpopular opinion about this character: He is a functioning alcoholic, raging hypocrite, I loathe his woe-is-me-attitude sometimes and how he projected so much of his daddy issues onto the willing recipient Bobby. Plus he can be fucking stupid, if it suits the writers. Basically I would prefer if we get a few seasons of Sam in the center of the narration.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Okay, I would have loved if SPN would air on cable for the language alone. The show is pretty dark as it is, but I miss sometimes more complexity both in morals and personality. Plus they could have dived deeper into the torture-issues and not just alluded to the rapes of both Dean and Sam in hell.
