charmax was the one to get the ball rolling this year, so I follow her suit, I just need to fill out my own wishes later beside numero uno, when I had time to think about them, in the meantime:

Step One:

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two:

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.



1. I would love a Chrismas/Holiday card from any of you!

2. Fics – You know my taste… So English? German? Surprise me and I would claim anything as my present, slash, het, drabble or novel.

3. Smut – hot sex mixed either with cold detachment - you know the kind that goes something like this: We both know this isn’t a good idea, but it feels too good to care about this irrelevant fact right about now – or some awesome banter mixed in – not necessarily a fluff comedy, but nothing too serious either.

4. A Lilah vid, so I was ripping AtS and end up watching her and I would really like a vid that is centred around this extraordinary woman. Lilah/Wes would be also splendid, also strangely I would prefer Cordelia/Lilah to that or Lilah/Angel or to be honest – a pure character study of her going from scared wannabe bad ass lawyer to ruling Wolfram & Hart and still be a human being with desires and wishes.

5. A SPN vid with focus on the MotWs or people in peril, not the brothers.

6. An upbeat multi-fandom vid.

7. Something hot for my desktop 1280 x1024

8. So you feel generous and like spending actual money? Get me a coffee cup that either reminds you of me or has some dry, cynical or diabolic message on it, because I go faster through my limited collection than my dishwasher can keep up.
