Two Nicole Kidman wallpapers, because the pics were stunning and I couldn't resist. I think the second one is bad, in real bad, but I like the first one, so here we go...

Brushes: Imprints, addicted resources, ForbiddenFire, Evenstar, and Miss M.
Pattern: Pattern-Bomb
Gradients: Ningengirai
Pictures: [livejournal.com profile] hires_hotties

Taken from [livejournal.com profile] charmax, also seen at [livejournal.com profile] titenani's and [livejournal.com profile] bunnythenavia's place, I'm not usually for chain letters, but this one is different...

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

If you think homophobia is wrong please post this in your LJ's. Ask your friends to post also.

And my sister is getting annoying or maybe it's me, because all of the sudden I can't resist her charm, a charm she didn't possess. She talked me into baking her a cake. Me for god's sake! Before she got knocked up, I would have told her to shove it where the sun doesn't shine, the only thing I bake are muffins, now she didn't even need to beg. She asked me three times and I was hearing myself suddenly saying, 'Yeah, whatever.' My mom and she gave me an equally shocked look, one I didn't receive in a very long time of pure amazement. So I got the cake order and my grandmum the one for potato salad and my part is all done now. I didn't even consider to poison it, just warned her that I would fuck it up on purpose, so she would shut up for the future, which I didn't. There is something very weird about a pregnant sister, which makes her demands into imperatives. So tomorrow there's gonna be three generations of women and one on the way shoving food and cake down their throats with no other reason, than my sis saying we should do it.

Life is getting strange, my dears! And I know, that this baby will come on my birthday, I just know it...

Wow! The second wall is amazing. It is so striking and dark and seductive. I don't know about cheap, but she does look kinda evil... in a sexy way. I really love the colouring in this, it's sharp and vivid. I'm glad you kept it minimal and laid off using heavy texture/brushes. It works wonderfully as it is - naked "look at me!"

The first wall has a totally different feel, light and airy but slightly sad. Like she is shying from the camera, un-sure of herself. Lacking in confidence almost. The colours are warm yet melancholic. Beautiful.

So.. being an aunt-to-be, is it making you broody yet? lol I just love pregnant women’s bellies. :D My niece was born on my birthday, what are the odds of that.. 2 people in the same family born on the 29th FEB (leap year). Strange! It's not a bad thing though. ;D Enjoy your cake tomorrow. You made it, you might as well enjoy it. Lol

Thanks for the compliments, you described perfectly the feel I was aiming for in both ones, I still don't like the second one, but happy that you enjoyed it nevertheless…

The cake was real good, nothing left and the embarrassing child stories are floating freely now, we laughed tears today…So no brooding about my future aunt status, I’m just so excited and amazed by the whole pregnancy to be anything, but happy for her. But I need my defences back, she dragged me shopping the third time in as many days today, the power level she has is astonishing, so I told her the next time we go out it will be for nothing other than ice cream, no puppy dog eyes or pouting will change that fact, I hope I will gain a small victory here… *worries*

LOL About the leap year thing, you told me already, but I’m not sure, if I revealed the story of a friend, he and his son are also born on 29th Febuary, so the odds aren’t that bad or maybe this kind of thing runs in families? *smile*

Oops my use of English slang strikes again. By broody I meant not brooding about being an aunt but making you want a baby of your own! lol It sounds a lot of fun being dragged around the shops...not! You will love it when the baby arrives and your sister will be too tired to even dress herself let alone go on shopping trips. :D

"LOL About the leap year thing, you told me already"

I am sorry if I am repeating myself. Senility is beginning to set in. :P You didn't mention your friend. Perhaps there is some weird family trait thing going on. Whatever it is it is strange. lol

Now your 'broody' makes much more sense and maybe a little, but it rubs off more on my boyfriend, he is the same age as my sister, so the four year difference shows there. I just wanna watch and observe for awhile and you're right, she will be worn out soon enough once the baby is born. I see a ray of hope on the horizon... Thanks!

And now off to comment on your two awesome vids!
